Our brief for this contemporary brasserie style restaurant was ‘local Scottish produce meets the spice trade.’ We elected to select traditional materials of granite and onyx which, coupled with ‘Moorish’ influenced lighting and screens, results in an exotic environment befitting the fine cuisine.
Mosaic tiling with 24 carat gold detailing enhances the columns that frame the restaurant windows, and the bespoke onyx back-lit bar and the glass fronted wine cellar create a dramatic backdrop to the restaurant’s entrance, whilst the fixed seating and chairs in faux suede complement the warm granite floor tiles and make for a relaxing environment.
